The goal for this project was to transition the home from the trends and the color palette of Y2K. As the temptation was to lean to a more transitional style, it was done sparingly to ensure the timeless integrity of the home.

Neutral custom Stark sisal rugs, hand-woven Tibetan rugs, an updated color palette and custom French pleated linen drapery offered an updated feel. Ridding the home of the numerous red, gold, and green Persian and Aubusson rugs, faux painted walls, elaborate drapery and cornices, abundance of furniture and bauble created a clean yet eclectic aesthetic.
